Marci discovered Kundalini Yoga in Seattle, and planned to eventually search for it after settling into Tucson during the pandemic. She, her husband and their son, moved into Armory Park Neighborhood in 2021. While exploring the offerings at Caritas Center for Healing, she saw a listing for Kundalini Yoga! But where was this class? Lost while trying to find the classroom on site, she joined the class via Zoom. Ramgeet then met her in the lobby and she’s been a student ever since.
With the solidity of an idyllic, loving childhood on her home planet New Jersey, she explored lucid dreaming, numerology, astrology, meditation, and other wisdom traditions. She eventually found Kundalini yoga, or it found her, or she attracted it. She practices to relax the nervous system body and strengthen the vibrational body.
To support her empathic and sensitive nature, she has a committed meditation practice, which provides her with cherished solo time. She also has a strong water practice, which involves swimming and physical yoga in the pool combined with breath, meditation, and sacred music, like Krishna Das. Additionally, she’s a poet.
Studying sociology in college, she loves the community aspect of Yoga4All. This is her community for meeting like-minded, conscious people out in the world and doing a physical practice together, sometimes up to five days a week.
We are so grateful for Marci’s stable presence, grounded energy and soft spoken wisdom.
