Gopal’s Assignment
The Altar – Create one.
Immediately, cliche images,
…in the shade and coolness of trees——
But the big dead tree
pointed to a spot in the sun.
So in the sun
I drizzled wood chips, which led to rocks-
and listening too
If maybe they were calling out.
Playing between building Neolithic bridges
of communication in simple structures
and geometry, following a spiral
that emerged out into the unknown
from my heart.
