Those of us familiar with Yoga4All’s KYo Kamp Retreats are accustomed to the outcome being a fulfilling love fest.
But this Fall’s Organ Pipe Resilience retreat seemed to hit a new level of “Awe” at being guided by something far greater than ourselves.
Could it have been our expectation that the Pitaya Dulce forest would specially anoint us with its magical resilience?
Might it have been “the Gone Before’s” and weighty prayer intentions we invoked at our opening ceremony and that accompanied us our weekend?
Was it just the kismet of the constellation of players in the momentous space and time?
Can’t say; Not knowing, but big gratitude for Gaia’s benevolent gifts of the double rainbow and the plentiful falling stars, the perfect weather, and the discovery of the Limberbush plant.
And more gratitude for the open-ness and expansion each camper brought. How it set the stage to dance our hoofies off each night and renew our capacity to dance gracefully through the unwieldy game of life.
It all highlighted for me the blessed Web of Relations – that shapeshifts between Teacher and Student, Listener and Speaker, Giver and Taker that forms an interdependence that models a world of best practice. Such Reciprocity is vital to building resilience and to flourish as lighthouses.
