The sangha celebrated fall equinox together on Mt Graham.

Sometimes paradise isn’t a place we discoverāit is a moment we finally become present enough to notice.
Our 2026 Summer Solstice Retreat reminded us that the Garden of Eden isn’t hidden somewhere in history. It lives wherever we awaken to the fullness of the present moment. Through laughter, tears, unexpected challenges, sacred practices, and the beauty of Colorado’s mountains, we rediscovered that presence transforms every experience into holy ground.

Every meaningful transformation begins with crossing a threshold. Some portals appear in nature, others in the heavens, and many arise unexpectedly within our own lives. The invitation is always the sameāto release what no longer serves us and step into who we are becoming with courage, awareness, and trust.

This July, Lou has invited us to explore the topic of freedom through our practice. Very topical for me at this moment. As I write

A spring equinox retreat in the Chiricahua Mountains became a journey of healing, remembrance, and sacred reconnection. Through yoga, sisterhood, nourishing meals, and the power of ancestral land, renewal unfolded naturally.
