Yoga Retreats – A Prayer Granted

A few years back I stopped at Organ Pipe National Monument late in the day. I climbed around then sat outside my vehicle as the sun set listening to people laughing, cooking, singing by the campfire thinking how precious it is to have kindred souls to camp with, and practice yoga, and great food, and go hiking, and sit around a campfire telling stories.

I was going to sleep in my car, but it was so sad to be alone in contrast. So, I left.

I must’ve sent out an accidental prayer because hooray!!! For the last few years, it became a reality. All I had to do was accept the gift. Every campout retreat I grow and flourish in the soil of everybody’s experience, the wind of everyone’s laughter, the fire of everyone’s being, and the water of everyone’s love.
